Natasha graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2011, with a BSc Honours degree in Osteopathy (after 4 years of full time study). She has post-graduate qualifications in Cranial Osteopathy, and has also trained in Sports Massage Therapy and Kinesio-taping. She is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy, and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
Over her career, Natasha has acquired an in depth knowledge of anatomy, patho-physiology and clinical medicine; and treated a wide variety of patients and conditions. Natasha enjoys treating all problem areas/all ages, and welcomes a diverse patient list; however, she does possess particular interests in working with arthritis, occupational strains, neck/stress related headaches, and paediatric cases.
Natasha likes to apply a predominantly hands-on approach, which can include massage, stretching, gentle joint mobilisation, and (where appropriate) spinal manipulation/the ‘clicky’ stuff! She will use Cranial Osteopathy in isolation for some patients (including babies), but will often combine these techniques to complement a standard session. Treatment intensity and technique choice is always dictated by a patient’s age, presentation, and preference; and this can really vary from one session to the next – this is why Natasha feels she is able to help such a mixture of patients, and she is grateful to have such an interesting and rewarding job.
